Intellispring has begun deploying a complete IT refresh at Grady Hospital in downtown Atlanta. Voice, Data, and Wireless components are all part of this extensive technical makeover. This is absolutely a mission critical rollout. The team will also be one of the first in the country to rollout the Cisco Nexus switches powered by a state-of-the-art operating system. As Cisco’s flagship switching platform, the Cisco Nexus Series is a modular switching system designed to deliver 10 Gigabit Ethernet and unified fabric in the data center. This new platform delivers exceptional scalability, continuous operation, and transport flexibility.
Opened in 1892, Grady Health System is well known for its trauma and emergency services with the only level I trauma center within 100 miles of metro Atlanta. Grady’s other service centers include a Diabetes Center, Georgia Cancer Center for Excellence and Avon Foundation Breast Health Center.
